Tesla has reopened reservations for its long-delayed next-generation Roadster, asking customers to pay $50,000 weeks before the company unveils a redesigned version of the vehicle.
According to Tesla’s booking portal, getting a spot requires an initial payment of $5,000 that is fully refundable by credit card. Customers must then make a $45,000 bank transfer within 10 days to complete the reservation.
